Poffin and his pal, who looks just like him, are from a TSC assortment, and I chose them because I didn't recognize their breed at all! They are both super tiny, smaller even than the other bantams of the same age, and very docile. I just adore them and can't figure out what the heck they are. lol They both have silvery pink legs, tiny single combs, and Poffin has two little freckle-like spots, one on either side of his nostrils. Intricate coloration on the wing feathers growing in. So cute! ^_^ What am I?

He kind of reminds me of an odd color of OEGB, but the leg color is very different and head shape is much shorter and less sharp looking.

the white on top of head indicates it has barring and will end up more or less like crele coloring. The chick down color and pattern is a little off for proper crele so I have a hard time saying it would be a crele old english bantam and like the other said, the body and face doesn't quite look like a 'real oegb'. but then hatcheries are not overly concerned with standards so maybe it's a hatchery verison of crele oegb.

I've wondered about crele OEGB, but I haven't yet settled on it because they look so different from the chicks on Privett's website.

Visited the site, their picture adults does seem to have same color your chick is showing on down(called dark brown). I'd guess this chick fits Privett's idea of crele oegb.

'true' crele is based on red duckwing, the hens are lighter and show salmon breasts. Dark brown hens are darkish and have browner breasts with no salmon and if barring is added they tend to look like the pullet in their picture.

I mean, this chick and the picture of adults on their website probably are dark browns with barring added, which would explain why they don't exactly look like the more usual crele oegb.
