A really weird question

Hate to hijack but going through the same thing with my peking duck so this is good to hear. She has laid 5 eggs so far but nothing this morning do they lay everyday? Or can they have a day off should i be looking for the egg somewhere else? she has been consistently laying in the nest box provided so i am a bit perplexed.
