Ah...little sisters. I'm on the easygarden under the same username. How did they get started? Were they origanally on the ez forum software too??

Good question! All the sister sites were "started from scratch"

www.BackYardHerds.com started out as www.BackYardCows.com (as an April fools joke).

www.TheEasyGarden.com and www.SufficientSelf.com were started because we felt there was enough discussion to warrant separate communities and have each develop their own personalities over time.

Well, check out the various sections. Personally I participate most in the sections about solar, being frugal, recycling, homemade projects, etc.

BYHerds works for me too. It is just the other two that are giving me problems.
