Influence the male behavior making heme more sensitive and more "motherly".
I wonder if there is a harmon in chickens that change the behavior?
Hormone profile highly likely as even impacts male humans. I have that problem now with little kids.
I would look at progesterone levels in addition to oxytocin. Former I think is more important with the incubation process which is depicted in video while latter more important with parenting of birthed / hatched young. I have seen enough critters where father is more vested post-fertilization that I do not like to extrapolate from the mammal centric motherly.
