a "seriously" "really" rant

I used to get sick of hearing "Whatever" Uhg. My kids have just used these terms to death and also they say "SICK" for things they think are pretty or cool. I wonder if I ever got on my parents nerves this way?

The one that I can't "hang" with is when you tell someone some news and they respond "SHUT UP!" At that point I usually do and walk away.

My friend has a "really" bad habit of saying "you know" after every phrase in his conversation.

That's like really, seriously annoying, you know?

My pet peeve is "absolutely" to replace a simple "yes". Makes me want to claw and scratch something, seriously! Occasionally I find myself using it and have to slap me in the face; feels good, since I know I can get away with doing that and I won't sue myself.
