Sweat pea is the smartest chicken in the flock. She's the one who figured out that the ducks get special attention......so now SHE gets special attention!.......

Sweet Pea is a White Plymouth Rock......my mom got white chickens. BORING. She's my favorite, go figure. That's food coloring on her wings, by the way. Hope that doesn't offend anybody, but I just can't help myself. I want my mom to name the henhouse "The painted chicken".......

Oh, NO!!! Heaven forbid! She got 7 Black Australorp (forgive my spelling), 4 Easter Eggers, 6 Buff Orphingtons, 3 Barred Plymouth Rocks, 3 Golden laced Wyandots and 3 Plymouth Rocks........2 golden ducks of some kind (can't find the paper work) and a Tufted Roman Goose named Mr. Briggs. OH! and 6 Pekin ducks for the dinner table.

Well, that is not as bad as it may. EEs add a lot of cor. Just a warning with the ducks and the goose. If they are males, and they are raised with chickens, it is possible that they will think that they are chickens. Maybe not, but this is what happens to me when I raise ducks with chickens. If the are males and they think that they are chickens, they may try to mate with your hens, and crush them because they are a lot heavier. Your goose should be of special concern.

Yeah, the ducks are Pekins and will not be staying for long. They will be graduated to the dinner table when they are ready, so I don't think they'll be around long enough to cause those kinds of problems. The other 2 golden ones (can't remember their breed) are females.
