A small egg?

Today I went out to my chicken coop to collect the usually 4 eggs. I got 4 but not the regular. There was one small (and I mean small) egg. Does anybody know if this is normal? -The top egg is a normal one that I get every day -The middle is the small egg. -The cup has the contents of the small egg.

I don't think it's a major problem. Some times hens just have "glitch" eggs. Let us know if she does the same tomorrow. Otherwise, I don't think it's a major concern

If you find an abandoned birds' nest, it makes a cute decoration with the tiny egg. I've had a few myself. ;)
 
Called a fairy(or wind or fart or rooster egg).
Small piece of tissue or immature ova travels down the pipes and gets encased just like a 'normal' yolk.
Can happen to a layer of any age.
