A small poll: Are you an ABA member?

I am a happy member of the ABA as of this month

My sister is an ABA/APA youth member.

Paid member of the ABA till 2012 and Life Member of the APA.
I think I speak for more than myself when I say I love raising, showing and generally caring for my birds. There are forces at work that would usurp our right to keep and show poultry or other forms of livestock without them being registered with the state or federal governments. It is through the good work of representatives of the ABA/APA combined that greater strides in restricting our freedoms have not been achieved.
I would ask that each person who is a member of this message board also become a member of each of these historic and very important associations. The benefits you will receive may be the very right to keep poultry. Most of us won't call our congressman or senator or drive to the state capital or D.C. but these associations have representatives who do and will to fight for us. The fees are small in regards to the benefit of being allowed to keep this freedom. Don't sit on the sidelines, join the fight!

I'am new to this.We are very interested in showing. If i were to join, would i have information available on how to show bantams? Thank you. Ken

Yes to both APA & ABA. If you show or are interested in showing & are not a member shame on you. Without these 2 organizations there would be no poultry shows.
