Yesterday we were sitting on our back porch and heard 2 thumps following by crying. Two baby squirrels were on the ground. One ended up being fine and making it up the tree. The other...not so much. We set him up with a little warm box filled with fiber to keep him warm hoping that mom would come get him.

She never did. I found the poor thing hanging outside the box almost dead. I quickly got him some sugar water and then made sure he could pee with a cotton ball. He wont eat solid food so ive been nursing him with a bottle and dog colostrum. Right now hes rather content in his box and doesnt want to be bothered so I couldnt get a pic. He's got all his fur but its clear mom was sick of nursing. So this is my new hell right now. I'm hoping he is strong enough after a few days to make it on his own. DH wont let me bring him inside so I'm just doing what I can.

Following! Try visiting the YouTube channel A Chick Called Albert. He raises squirrels, and has a couple videos of him reviving babies. They’re not how to videos, but it may give you can idea as to what care should look like.
Oh, I've seen that guy. Yes, he would be quite helpful
