Life is like a box of chocolates! That is just too cute and too funny. It is good that it also gave your coworkers a good laugh to brighten the day. Working in a situation that is hard work and around people with needs etc, you need to have a lot of lighthearted fun to get through the day easier.
I have 7 cats. I would not have so many cats if I did not rescue 3 of them that would have end up dead or severely abused if I did not take them in. I am blessed with a husband that is also compassionate towards animals and supports my hobby of raising them. We also have 2 rabbits, both of them are fixed and they are indoor bunnies. They are so sweet and one of them is a mini lop, Hunny Bunny. I call her a humongolop because after I got her fixed, she has gotten huge! When she turned 2 1/2 years old, I decided kind of relunctantly to get another rabbit for a companion for her because I was not sure if they would bond, and, I was not expecting a new rabbit to fill the shoes that Hunny fills. She is a completely wonderful bunny. Uses her litter pan faithfully and she does not chew on cords etc or is destructive in any way. She is a perfect little lady. I got a baby Jersey Woolie that is adorable. He is way smaller than her and I just got him fixed a while back and it really cleaned up his litter pan habits. There was no problem with the bonding issue. They love one another so much that when the time comes that one of them will pass away, I am concerned about the grieving process of the one that is left

"Stowaway chicken''---What a funny story! Don't you wonder what she was thinking all that time? "What the heck??!! Where am I!?? Where are the snacks? Where is everyone else? Hey, nice padded roost anyway....." I guess the road noise probably covered up any sound she might have made on the drive to work. Maybe she could become a therapy chicken at the home. I know big chicken hugs certainly improve my mood. Thanks for sharing. Still hope to see pics!
