A Swing For Chickens?

Someone mentioned to me in a different post that you can actually build your chickens a swing! Has anyone ever done this?

I am building one for mine. Get a perch and tie some twine on ech side then hand it. to prevent slipping drill a hole in each side of the perch and clip the string through

I read about that and I want to do it as soon as the weather warms up. I am going to use a nice thick branch and tie with either heavy twine or use chain.

The article I wrote said to use a large circle but why? A branch or rod is just as good.
