A tiny egg in my garden

So I found a little egg in my garden, I don't know what type of bird it was but I waited a couple of days and no birds came anywhere near the egg so I decided to have a go at hatching it. Its been in the incubator for 2 days now and I decided to candle it to see if it was alive. I could see something in there but I couldn't see any veins. Does that mean it isn't fertilized or is it still to early to tell?
