This may be a bit technical, so know that you've been warned!!!
When posting a new reply / topic you'll notice there is a button with "Word-Link". It use to be "http://" and I've never known the reason for having this button as any link you post will automatically be turned into a working link:
www.backyardchickens.com
Well, I made the button a little bit more useful (hopefully for more people than just me).
Before, if you highlighted text and clicked the http:// button you would get:
:
text
now when you click the new button you'll get:
:
text
Basically this will allow you to take any word and change it to a link. Just highlight the word, click the http:// button and replace the "YourLinkGoesHere" with your link.
I'm looking into ways to present a popup to enter the text and the URL, but for now this should work fine.
If you have any suggestions or comments please let me know.
If this was all totally confusing then please click on the "Recent Posts" link at the top of the page and forget about this post as you read through all the other fun topics!
BTW, I also deleted the "Code" link since I doubt very many members are posting code in their replies.
