A too smart roo..

I think my roo may be too smart for my good. Today while putting everyone up he would not enter the coop. Now I had already noticed his back missing a few feathers but had no extra heat lamp to separate him into his own place with. So while attempting to chase him into the coop he finally got frustrated and he pulled the lay down and act pitiful act. It worked and scored him his own clear tote in the house and free lap time while I was watching tv. I think my friendliest rooster has out smarted me into a bit of easy life this winter.

They can be crafty and smart for sure. You must have a SOFT HEART like myself. Easily get take by these pets.
