but dont worry you just have to get back on the horse. It took me a couple of days to get over it and i was like "i am never doing this again" but... after a couple of days i thought about why i had started this in the first place and i decided i was going to give it another try. well dont get too down on yourself i am sure that both of us will have a lot better luck next time becuase we will ahve learned so much from this hatch.

I think it was a 104 degree temp spike on day 18. It looked like all the chicks but one may have dies then. I'm not sure when the other died.

Someone asked what brand of bator I used-an LG still air. I had a lot of trouble with temps. the whole time.

Oh and thank you everyone, I'm ok about it. Not everything is successful the fist time. It's just hard when it's a living thing.

I'm sorry to hear about the loss. When you get your Genesis those temp struggles will be a thing of the past. I know how frustrating it can be. A couple years ago I had a still air unit with wafer and had an almost 10% hatch. All the rest were dead-in-shell. That is the worst part, when they make it almost to the end and then you lose them. I'm sure you will do a lot better with the new bator!
