A Tribute to Gator (very picture heavy)

We’ve all had good dogs.
But a great dog is like a friend. You miss them.
You’ll never have another like him as it should be one of a kind. What a life he had. What a treasure. All good dogs go to heaven...he’ll wait for you. I cannot imagine the sorrow in your heart. May you find peace. So sorry for your loss.

so sorry for your loss. He looks like he was such a sweet boy. I loved the pictures! The one of him holding a croc reminded me of my collie Beau, who, even as an adult, likes to grab shoes and parade away from you. again, I'm so sorry that you lost Gator.

Thank you. He really was such a sweet boy. And he always brought a present to greet us at the door! Usually the closest thing he could find but often times that wasn’t good enough and I would watch him run around trying to find the best present for the person coming in the door.

It really was! He also loved to hold pillows in his mouth, I think it was very soothing to him. And he loved stuffed animals. Being half Lab, he loved having things in his mouth lol

Aww that’s so sweet! It’s funny, some of them he just loved carrying around and never destroyed. Some he did but he had certain ones that were like his babies lol so cute and he was half black Lab and half Great Pyrenees. Thank you! I think he was too.

Yeah, he was! Around 140 usually, plus or minus a few pounds. And aw that’s so cute!

Thank you Penny! I am sure he has made a lot of friends up there already! Our previous dogs, Higgins and Bailey, are up there and my dad’s friend’s dog just passed last night too, and I am sure there are others. Maybe he even found some chickens to watch over.
