A two-story coop?

I think it would definately work. I think you'll want full access from one side: Perhaps the whole wall should be two sets of swinging doors so that you can open it all the way up.

That is a great Idea and thought my idea of a camper that I am working on was good will place pics as soon as it is done.

Great Idea not sure that it will work for 81 hens and 6 roo.

Someone has posted a doghouse/chicken coop building with a run on either side (chickens have the top floor) that would work well.

Basically I did just what you talked about: yet instead of 2 sets of chickens, I have one for the dog, and the other for the chickens.

It's a good way to save space, and if you do it right, it can end up looking very nice. Good luck!
