PROLOUGE
The water rose up and up, and then crashed down, creating ripples in the night. A stunning silver wolf stepped out of a den, water not too far behind her. She called out to a black wolf, who had howled something back, before, he, too, was trapped in the endless murky water. The she-wolf did not know what to do, for there was no one left to help her. She grabbed her seven pups and took off. But the pups were moving so much, it was almost an impossible trip. The water was close behind her now; she would either have to save herself, or her pups.
She dropped her defenseless pups, and ran for her life.
