Ever since I added two hens to the original 7 I had, there have been no eggs. I'm about ready to ring a neck infront of the others just to get them going under threat. For now, I put a couple of fake eggs in two of the nest boxes. I cleaned their coop even though it wasn't that dirty. I did find a littl clog of spoiled food in their feeders and I added calcium to their fresh food. Their waterer is clean enough for anyone to drink. They get the full yard for about 1/2 of each day. Those freeloading hens aregetting pampered and spoiled and are not producing. The feathers in the coop are not indicating moulting or over agressive behavior.

Any ideas what I can do?

One of the newbies might be an egg eater....maybe why they were sold?? Often hens will quit laying for a few days (or a couple weeks) when they are moved to a new location, but I wouldn't expect that your established birds would quit also...did you quarantine the new hens???

Give them a little time..their pecking order has been disrupted by adding the other hens. They will start laying again...
