Somebody fill me on on what an EE is?

DS is going to be entering these in the fair so we'll need to have these all right.

I think it is a Colombian rock.

An Easter Egger (EE) is any chicken that has been mixed with an Ameraucana or Arucauna. The result is, a very pretty chicken that lays blue or green eggs. They can have beards and muffs, or not. They can have yellow legs or green or slate. Ameraucana's only come in a few colors and Arucauna's have tufts and no tail! Very weird looking bird. Easter eggers are good layers. And are in any color! I have about a dozen and a half of them. All different colors. Some have beards some don't. Some have green legs but most of them have slate and a few have yellow. Oh and they are not recognized as a breed. Hope this helps.

An EE is an Easter Egger. They are basically a mutt chicken but have certain characteristics like muffs. Many times they are sold as Ameraucana's, even from hatcheries.

They usually lay a colored egg: green or blue or pinkish but can lay brown tints also. We all hope for those colored eggs!

I googled images on that and you might be right. She seems to have more defined black areas than most of the pics I saw but that may be a good thing.

Well, she doesn't have any feathers on her feet so that rules out some things.

She's my mystery chicken. Maybe we'll take her to the fair, list her as something we think she is and see what the judge says.
