"how's everyone doing back there?" he put down his bit of Ivory, watching it proudly as it glinted in the sun.

"I'f were going to help the snapping river tribe, then I can get us in." she said, stopping to draw a circle in the sand with her claw. she wiped away part of the circle, pointing with her tail. "there's a way in, a tunnel, covered by tree roots.we should be able to sneak in, if no one has ratted it out to the rouges." she looked up.
"the true leader was murdered.. but the previous chief could still be living, providing his age hasn't caught him yet. he will be the one we will rally behind."

(Is Mongoose the one talking?) Falcon was behind Dart. He couldn't see past his tail.

(yeah, I realized if forgot to add dialog tags!) the wind made a grab at Dart's tail, whipping it around to smash falcon in the face. though not dense, she sheer mass of feathery fur was stifling in the heat.

"Sorry!" Dart said, snatching his tail away. he swallowed a snicker, picking up his Ivory and dropping back to walk beside Falcon. "so, what do you think of all this talk? I think Mongoose is smart, she'll beat cobra! then we'll all be safe, don't you think? oh! and nile and Lion will get to go home! and River too! Though.. fighting rouges sounds tough, have you ever been in a battle? I've fought rats before, even one bigger than me! that was before I met Mongoose, and before I came to the Thunderer Tribe, How did you come here? were you born here? do you have any family? did you used to live in the rainforest too? di-" Dart stopped only to gasp, then started his long string of words again.
