Dart spotted the new cat walking away. "hey! wait! whats your name? I haven't seen out out here before, did you see that bird just now? It was FAST! what was it anyway? how long have you been following us? are you going to Join? that would be great! I'm Dart by the way. whats your name? do you have a name? are there nameless cats in the desert? have you ever gotten sun sickness? that cat over there had it, and he says all sorts of strange things!" he yammered on, chasing the cat down. (yeah, I forgot to quote it lol)
"What about me?" Adish felt ignored. "Oh, and I'm Adish.Stickeybeak jumped about three feet in the air when Dart began asking her thousands of eager questions. Normally, she would have shot off into the grass in fright, but she was hit by the humor of the situation, and let out a long-unused giggle. For a few minutes she was speechless with laughter.
Then she turned to him and blinked. "Well, actually, I have had sun-sickness before. When I was young. It wasn't pleasant in the slightest. I'm Stickeybeak; nice to meet you."
"What about me?" Adish felt ignored. "Oh, and I'm Adish.
"Apparently, the jungle," replied Adish, not all that enthusiastic about going and meeting bloodthirsty rogues.Stickeybeak mewed a greeting to Adish too. "So, where are you travelling to?"
"Apparently, the jungle," replied Adish, not all that enthusiastic about going and meeting bloodthirsty rogues.
"Why of course!" Cried Adish"The jungle?" Stickeybeak suddenly brought back memories of when her mother was alive, memories of quiet whisperings about the jungle, memories of a distant relative who lived there.... Her fur prickled on her back, raising slightly.
"I'm travelling there too! Can I join you?"
"Thankyou! Is there, um, anyone I should talk to, like the leader or something? I've never been in a tribe before, so I have no idea how daily life goes," Stickeybeak admitted."Why of course!" Cried Adish
"No, unless you want to talk to the long winded sand cat twins," Adish side. "But I want to show you something. Follow me!""Thankyou! Is there, um, anyone I should talk to, like the leader or something? I've never been in a tribe before, so I have no idea how daily life goes," Stickeybeak admitted.
Cobra blinked as the light from above shone down into his yellow eyes. here we are. the greatest Tribe in the Jungle. he thought proudly, standing on his perch high on the rocks, his powerful clan mates close at paw. and I, I am their leader. he thought. everything was perfect. except..it wasn't. his lip curled as mangy pelts scuttled in the shadowed corners of the undergrowth. Traitors. they don't deserve to live here. he thought. but, almost as soon as he thought this, a sweet scent reached him, reminding him of his promise. I do it for her, Oleande. see Mongoose? I am a good leader, I let the mange pelts stay! he thought, his tail flicking irritably. the new generations were loyal to him, that was what was Important. yet, his claws still itched to pull up the weeds by there roots. they'll die off soon, like the parasites they are. he thought, watching the familiar pelt of the former leader make its way stiffly across the clearing. a few more rainy seasons, then I'll be rid of them. ~~~ Blue looked at night, shuffling away from the Tom. "I don't remember, why should you care? what do you want with me?"
"One more time I tell you!" she cried. "I do not want you to be leader, with me at your side. You disrespect me and our children! Why you killed our son! And for what? To impress who? One more death of a cat, and I'm leaving! I love you, but I can't take it, why must you do this?" She asked.Beautiful Oleander strode into the clearing, the black tip of her tail twitching, Dire at her side. "This is wrong, why must you kill cats, for nothing," she whispered. "Families devastated, dying, and for what? You as a leader. Nobody wants you, but me. I love you, but I feel discarded, like a carcass."
