~A Wisp of Sand~ a a desert cat tribe rp

Willow leaped backwards off of him. "I don't suppose you thought I'd do that, huh?" she meowed while twitching her whiskers in amusement.
"I could calculate that as a possibility in a real battle," Crimson said with a sudden serious tone. "Be ready. A battle is coming soon. Expect anything. Prepare. Any small move out of place could wreck everything. Like your bad leg," she tried to not show it, but she still limped just a little. As she stiffened from the negative thoughts, Crimson dove under her belly and tried to kick her off. He had a tricky play, striking when the other was vulnerable. But you could tell he was only playing.

Willow fell to the ground, but quickly started kicking his belly with her hind-paws, claws sheathed.

He slid out from under her, and jumped on top of her, licking her scruff, what might have been a killing bite if he had wanted to kill her. "Remember, the rogues don't fight civilly like us as play, or to settle small arguments, they kill." He lightly jumped off and his optimistic aura returned.

Willow looked down at her paws. She thought nothing, said nothing, did nothing. Suddenly, the she-cat sprang towards Crimson and onto his back.

(How did I miss this?) Crimson saw it. He dodged her spring, he had been watching her the whole time. "Don't try the element of surprise on me. I am watching, and it is my mastery. You also don't have quick lips like mine," he winked. "But you are younger, smaller, more agile. Try to use that." He pounced on her again, though certain she wouldn't make the same mistakes, she wasn't that kind of cat. She would be watching this time.

Willow dodged out of the way. She quickly dove under Crimson to his other side.

Willow looked for a place to pounce. She stared at Crimson's shoulders before quickly changing direction and pouncing on his haunches.
Crimson flung her off in a moment, but if she hadn't switched direction, he wouldn't have even let her touch him. "Good. But this time, get a better grip on my shoulders."
