- Bird and Cory hadn't said anything yet, but Echo could tell by the way Bird was looking at them she was shocked. The red furred she-cat stepped away from Cory and walked up to them- "Who are they? How-" -Echo cut her off before she could finish- "This is Coal and Petra. I met them out hunting. Coal needs to eat and Petra was lost. Besides.. we could use some help." -Bird shook her head but introduced herself to Coal and Petra. Echo turned and grabbed the lizard, tossing it to Coal- "Eat it, and don't forget to drink the blood."

Coal wanted to tear into it, but knew he would get sick so he took slow, delicate bites, drinking the blood as he finished. He kinda was still hungry, but decided to nap first.

- Echo stared at him, her eyes full of sympathy. she lay down next to the skinny tom, her back pressing against his flank as she curled up, Bird lying down next to her. Echo covered her nose with her fluffy tail and ignored the growling of her stomach, her eyes only open as slits as she watched the sunset-
-Bird pressed against her sister, finding comfort in her soft fur and the scent she carried, somewhat floral but mixed with smells of the forest. As she lay there, she thought about what would happen next. Would they find the tribe soon? would they find more cats? Bird slowly drifted off to sleep as she thought about it-

- Echo shook her head and purred at the other young cats enthusiasm- "Well.. it's like every other temporary camp, i guess. It's got a little rock outcropping that we sleep under. it provides some shade from the sun. but other than that it's just.. sandy. We're almost there though, so you'll get to see for yourself. it's right over that sand dune." - Echo picked up the pace from a trot to a run as they reached the dune,sliding down the sandy hill with a yowl of excitement, her eyes bright with joy-

(It's fine. I'm fairly flexible. I can't officially play any new cats though. I have like thirteen.)
"Coal," the grey scruffy cat replied hoarsely. "Your name?" His green eyes her lizard with jealously. He shivered, his pelt shaking. (For the record, tribal cats don't have medicinal abilities. They'd be useless anyways, there are no herbs around.)

(oh good point, i never thought about that) - Echo's blue eyes flicked up at the black and white cat on the dune, before meeting Coal's- "I'm Echo, and that's Petra." - She motioned to Petra with her tail- " My sister and our friend aren't too far away..Would you like to come back to our camp with us? we have enough food and you look like you could use some."

"Horrible," Coal said and fell back asleep. He didn't feel like talking much.

-Echo rolled her eyes at Coal's remark. lifting her head to look at Petra- "It's not bad once you get used to it. I still prefer the jungle, though. Thank you, but it's only temporary. We're gonna continue on in the morning" - Echo nuzzled closer to Bird, breathing in her warm scent-

"I used to live in the jungle too, you know.... until I was driven out." said Coal. He missed birds and juicy flesh. After not eating for days, all he got was a chewy lizard.

I bet I will get used to it soon she meows birds sound good I hope someday I will get to taste one she purrs laying down on the hot sand I'll get used to it she falls asleep
