~A Wisp of Sand~ a a desert cat tribe rp

"I....I don't think that's such a good idea," said Coal. "The five of us against.... what could be the largest army a tribe could ever muster?"
He licked his chest, his fur was scraggly and tasted like dirt.

- Echo looked down at the tom cat, her eyes narrowing- "Letting him live isn't a good idea either. I'll die before i let him get away with what he did." -As she was speaking, Bird lunged for the silver she-cat, but Echo ducked down, turning on her back paw, and leaping for the red she-cat, grabbing onto her shoulders with her front paws. Bird rolled, shaking her sister off. she delivered a swift kick to her sisters ribs, nipping her ear hard enough to draw blood. Echo growled, jumping back up on her feet. As Bird stood there, she ran behind the red tabby, nipping the tendon on her back legs and diving between them, raking a sheathed paw across her belly. She darted out from under her, whipping around to face the breathless she-cat. Bird dove for Echo, moving quickly and grabbing her scruff in her jaws, dragging her to the ground with a large thump and holding her there, using her back legs to kick along the she cats back. Echo rolled out of her grip, turning and leaping towards her sister with outstretched paws. As she hit her, they tumbled off the outcropping of rocks, falling and hitting the ground with an audible thump as they wrestled, hissing. Echo finally shoved her sister off, moving swiftly and swiping a tongue across her throat with what would've been a fatal bite- "You move too slow, Bird. You act like a cat twice your size," Echo huffed as she caught her breath.

"Well, if you convince me...." Coal trailed off as Echo hurried on to fight her sister. "I would join you!"
As he saw them tumble off the outcropping, Coal said "are you alright?"

-Echo glanced at the tom, nodding as she breathed heavily- “It could’ve been worse” - she smiled shaking her head. She knew that she and Bird were reckless, but she loved the rush. Besides, practice makes perfect. Echo padded over to Coal, sitting down with a huff and licking the dust out of her silver fur. Bird walked over to her, sighing- “I know. I’m trying. I need to run, I’ll practice some more tonight.”

Pebble's ear twitched. "I'm blind, not deaf," she meowed, sitting down and cocking her head at the pair. "So, when are the kits due?"

"Hehe... yeah. Funny word... Kits," Willow said awkwardly. " 'Don't know how many there will be..." She looked to Pebble, "-Or when they're due.."

Crimson stared at her.( "She just needs some sleep, haha, don't know what she's talking about." is what he wanted to say) instead he didn't know what to say.

Crimson wondered why they were sitting by so many bushes. It seemed unnecessary. I mean, there were hundreds of other miles of barren, vegetation free desert to sit in. Duh!
"Why do we always sit by bushes?" He accidentally said out loud. "And why do cat's like sitting in them?"

(SnappingRiver)
Huckleberry rolled around in the mud. He had mixed feelings about this ambush. Cobra hadn't given them much of an explanation, and these cats hadn't done anything to them... yet.

(Thunderer)
Pebble shrugged. "One kit, two kits, whatever. Look, I was just curious."

Flame walked over to River and Night. "You really want to kill him?" he asked, his mew low. "Killing another cat is an experience that will stay with you forever."

Pebble nodded. "Ah," she mewed, "So... a word of advice?" she stared at Willow, then at Crimson, with her sightless gray eyes. "Never make your kits think they are any less than they are. It doesn't end well." her tone was serious, and her eyes seemed to bore into them.
Crimson replied "If I had kits, I would make them feel worthy, like my mother did," unlike my father. This cat knew hate, but so did he.
Willow understood why the two cats, Crimson and Pebble, have felt unworthy and hated. Crimson, her mate, was hated, disregarded, and not trusted because he was accused of murdering his own mother, whom he loved. Willow had seen through that rumor and dismissed his bad attitude that, although seemed like the real him, was only shown because of all the hatred that was felt toward him. Pebble, on the other hand, Willow thought. Was unloved because of her handicap (correct?) .
(Update on conversation they were having. @LilJoe this is a good place for you to jump in.)

- Echo nodded- that's fair i suppose. We'll figure this out. I'll hunt extra so I can get you some food
"Thanks," said Coal.
(Just a heads up, she isn't going to be able to convince him no matter what she does. He's just that kind of cat.)
