A wonderful dog found ME. (with pics!)

Put a shirt on him! Thats how we have trained male problem markers! When they are in the house we put t shirts on them that would cover their, ummm...man junk. They really dislike the feeling of being wet from there own urine..Always worked like a charm for us.

He's SO cute!

He reminds me of a Cairn Terrier, aka "Toto" from the Wizard of Oz.

Adorable! And unless the pictures don't do justice he is not that thin! Dogs should have a waist, not be rolly polly. He actually looks like he's in good body condition from the pictures.

Have you had him scanned for a microchip? Posted ads in the paper or on Craigslist? You really should if you haven't. I know it would be hard to give him up, but what if there's a 10 year old little girl crying her eyes out b/c her dog ran away? If it were my dog I'd want someone to at least make an effort to return him to me.

OH MY GOSH!!!! How CUTE is he!!!!!!

Agreed though - he doesn't look all that thin. I would make an effort to find the owner. Keep him if no one claims him.

My last rescue at age 5-6 wks is still intact at age 1 1/2 yrs and he doesn't go in the house and just now started lifting his leg from time to time outside. He's a little shihtzu/red heeler mix.

Show us pics of your other stray. I have heelers and aussie.

He's a brussels griffon breed of dog. Well, that's what he looks like anyways. Looks just like the breed

There is no one really out here that does microchips really. But, I put an Found on the local swap shop, and just added a post on Craigslist. I plan on taking a flyer to the grocery store the next town over, and one for the PO in my town as well. Without a picture though as I want to be sure that I get the person who is the dogs owner. I want them to be able to describe them, seeing it has no identification. I did call my vet and left a message to see if she has a scanner for microchips.

My guess on breed would be Pug/wire hair Jack. I doubt he would be part Brussels( at least around here they are quite rare, but you never know)
