I just found this thread today and it warms my heart.
After all that has happened to this year I am grateful to be able to say that God is still good. This year has caused me to struggle in my faith but has ultimately strengthened it. Though there were certainly times of doubt and depression. But it has taught me that ultimately God’s goodness is not dependent on our circumstances but rather in who he is. He has brought good things even in a year that has seemed bring nothing but disaster. He has promised that He will never leave us or forsake us(Heb 13:5 and Deut 31:6) That he knows the plans he has for us (Jeremiah 29:11) And that this earth is not our final home (John 14:2-4 and Revelation 7:13-17).
