Aaaarrrgghhhhh Humidity!!!!!

Can anyone comment on how the the incubator itself affects the humidity inside of it. In other words; according to the "weather station" sitting on my desk right now the humidity is 79 % outside and 50 % inside the house. I assume that if the incubator were running without any water in it, the humidity in there would be less than the house humidity.

If the incubator is on, has no water in it an all the parts are dry an there is also no eggs in it then the humidity should be lower inside it than the rest of the house.
