AAggghh-the flies!

There are so many and they are just buzzing around, you can hear them from outside the run. Mainly they are in the run, not the coop but yuck! I know DE is supposed to work, and I am going to try to find some at the co-op today-but any other remedies?

See this thread ~ page 4 for a picture. She says to add about 1 cup of water, 1 tsp of dish detergent, and vinegar.

My chickens free range and the flies ARE NOT in their tractor but wherever their poop is throughout the yard. So if there are any suggestions for controlling flies outside the coop, I would love to hear them. (Hope you don't mind me using your thread

Get some fly predators. Look on the internet to find a source.
