Yey, you got some snow finally!

Yep, all gone now. It went from snow to low 20s temp. Now tomorrow is supposed to get up to 51 degrees. Go figure!

My birds try their utmost to avoid touching snow. We put part of an old rabbit hutch in the pen to give them more dirt space; we call it their greenhouse. There’s a clear part and we can see them moving around in there from the house.

Entry #1: my coop this morning
It was a rare day when my chickens didn’t set foot outside at all, even though their run is protected and didn’t have snow in it. Everything was encrusted in snow (it was 2 feet deep in some places) and so dark in there that maybe they thought it was still nighttime
