Is this a rooster or a hen? Any info would be great. Caught her/him/them in a parking lot.

Is it safe to introduce her to our flock?

Thanks!

I looks like some sort of game hen to me.
Is it safe to introduce her to our flock?
No it is not. Quarantine her for a month to help prevent spreading any diseases and to make sure she seems healthy. After that it should be safe to introduce her to your current flock but check out some integration methods people use so you can minimize the chances of her getting bullied by the others

After a 30 day minimum quarantine you can try putting a couple of your friendlier chickens with her before trying to integrate with the rest of the flock. A lone chicken is more likely to be bullied . . Just a newbies perspective.

Thank you so much for your help!

I thought she was beautiful too! Does that mean she was raised for eating?
Gamefowl are chickens that were bred/raised for sport in the pits. Nowadays alot raise them for ornamental, & showing purposes.

They're very hardy adaptable chickens, that are excellent for Free Range environments. I'm currently using them for a Survival Chicken Breeding Project.
