This afternoon one of my uncle's hens abandoned two of her chicks. They are only 3 days old. One of them appears to have been pecked by another chicken. He has an open sore on his right side that I'm really worried about. We have both chicks in a nesting box with a heat lamp on them. I can't get either one of them to eat or drinks. Can anyone help me? The one that is hurt keeps rolling over onto his back and going to sleep. I can't get him to stand or anything. It's almost as if he is tring to die or something. I have never had this happen before and am stumped as to what to do.

I would use a eyedropper and try to get some raw egg and vitamin water into the hurt chick. Neosporin w/o pain med can be put on wound. It may be too late by morning if, you don't get some protein and water into the injured chick. It doesn't sound like the hen showed them how to eat or drink. You will need to make a mash out of chick feed and a little water and dip their beak into it. If you don't have chick feed tonight - you can mash up a cooked egg yoke and get them to eat that. Dip their beak in shallow water dish to teach them to drink. Plain reg. yogurt can be given to.
Make sure they can move out from brooder light if, they get too warm. Good Luck

Hope you can get them eating and drinking

Thanks. I'm willing to try anything at this point. They are so weak right now. They're so tiny that both of them fit into the palm of my hand ( fingers not included). They are chirping so loud, like they're so hunger and so thirsty.
