Abandoned duck egg. Need help asap

Just went out and finished my normal routine with my ducks/chickens outside and noticed that mama duck has already started laying again. 1 fresh egg was waiting for me. Why would she start laying again so soon after just having hatched out babies less than a week ago? Could it be beacuse she rejected the babies and this egg I'm trying to save?

Wow that’s quick! My fastest momma duck started laying again when her babies were 3 weeks old, and after that week, I caught her staying on those eggs. I finally took them. I hadn’t even looked for eggs since I never expected she would lay again so soon!
But she may already want to try again.

As far as I know just the mom. We have mom, dad and baby ,(2 month old female) but dad and baby usually sleep outside in the run not in the duck house.

Yes it is last time it was 3 weeks before she started laying again.my ducks and chickens are sperated so no way to be a chicken egg. And the other female being only 2 months old I highly doubt it's hers

I'm thinking her hormones didn't get High enough so why the early egg laying...
