For what it is worth the abbreviation for Rhode Island Red is R.I. Red and Rhode Island White is R.I. White and there is no such breed as a "New Hampshire Red" the breed is a New Hampshire.

WCBP - could also stand for White Cap Blue Polish
BA - could also stand for Black or Blue Andalusian
BR - could also stand for Bourbon Red as in the Turkey
WM - could also stand for White Maran
BO - could also stand for Black Orloff
BC - could also stand For Back Cross (as a term used in breeding just like F1 and P1)

When I started this I received the informatin from all the members because I didn't know them. But if there is another thread on here with them I may not change mine and hopefully everyone will find it there.

Understand too that these "abreviations" are a BYC thing only. They are not used elsewhere in the poultry world. [also true of "bator", "roo", "fuzzy butt" & a number of other BYC only words & phrases.
I am the show secretary for 2 different poultry shows: anyone who sent me an entry for BOs, BCMs & GLMs could expect to receive a rather terse phone call if not their returned entry.
