Abdomen red whit no feeders

I suspect she is having a hard time laying an egg but I am not an educator and hopefully one will come soon for you. If she were mine what I would do is give her the warm salt soak. Epsom salts is what you need. Make sure she dont drink that water and let her sit in the water for about 15. mins or so. Then I would crush a Tums up and sprinkle it on a cooked egg for her. Then if you can treat those mites on her legs and probably her body as well . But lets see what educators say. They know more . I wish you good luck w/ her.

Good advice @Granny Hatchet this is where I would start too - giving her a soak and clean up. Might be worth feeling inside the vent for an egg, but the abdomen looks like it might be bloated so she could be suffering from a reproductive disorder. The legs do need tending too, I would also check her really well for lice/mites on the body.

@Gerleon how old is your hen and what do you feed them?
