Did you ever figure out what this was? I have a 9 week old black copper maran that has the same thing. I just discovered it today although I noticed a few weeks ago that her wing on that side hangs down a bit. Doesn’t seem to bother her at all. Perhaps her head movement is a little limited but no other issues. Curious if you ever found out what it was and how the chicken is doing. Hopefully just a physical defect and nothing serious.
