I found the below this morning. I think it was from yesterday. Tues, I had an egg that was rough with calcium deposits. Same Hen??

I got one of those myself this morning. It was from a seven-year old hen who has just finished a broody-breaking spell. Her calcium levels are low due to age. The eggs are either shell-less or very thin. As they plop down onto the poop board, they collapse.

The cure is calcium citrate administered daily until you get normal eggs again. I crush a tablet and mix it into a dab of peanut butter. Another hen refuses peanut butter so I mixed her dose with some grated raw carrot.

This does wonders for just about any hen exhibiting this problem. How old is your hen?

25 weeks. only been laying a couple of weeks.

Try not to be concerned. It's quite normal for new layers to have odd eggs at the beginning.

She should have access to oyster shell free choice even if on layer ration. That should take care of the problem in time.

I have 21 week old hens, and that is what my first egg looked like. I made sure the Oyster Shell was available and all other eggs have been beautiful.
