Hi,
I’m new to chicken keeping … my three Rhode Island red pullets seem healthy and happy as can be , they eat their food well and drinking water in this Carolina heat . They still will not eat any fruits or berries or vegetable scraps. They are 17 weeks old .
While cleaning out their coop …I noticed one of them is passing some thing red that looks a little bit like a red grape piece . But they don’t have access to fruit ….I think it might be a little blood clump. The stools are mostly formed . They free range only when I’m watching them in the grass in the a.m. and pm . For 30 min.
I don’t have a vet that cares for birds out here in our rural area .
Can someone advise me on what to do or look for ? I have a picture if that helps .
Thank you
