Abnormally Large Buff Orpingtons??

Hello Community,

So I have a few Buffs, and I love them dearly. I always have people exclaiming that they are HUGE. And I know they're huge, but I'm wondering if they are abnormally large? Don't ask me how much they weigh, they are heavy but I honestly haven't weighed them. I have two roosters, too, and they are wide bodied and tall. They're just thick large chickens. I love that they're that big but I'm wondering if anyone else has had this experience? I have them on an organic feed and free range diet. Never fed them anything with antibiotics or that is non-organic, so we can rule that out. They love blueberries and apples. I have a neighbor two doors down with (some other breeds) of chickens, mine are at least double that size, if not larger than that. My hens could probably eat their rooster for dinner. In the one picture I'm holding two roosters, keep in mind I am a 5'8 140lb woman so keep it to scale there... Any comments are appreciated!

I think that is normal! I have a friend who has BOs and hers are HUGE! And even if it isn't normal, it means they are VERY healthy! But if they lose weight, contact us. Lol!
