About 4 week old chick with too much food in crop. What should I do?

A friend at work found a baby chick on the road close to her house and gave it to me. It has wing and some tail feathers. I'm guesting it's about 4 weeks old. The problem is it's crop is puffed out with a bunch of food or other stuff in it. We have it in a box with water, some sand and chick start. The past couple days it doesn't seem to be going down. Any suggestions?

Does the crop feel firm or soft?? If firm, grit was a good idea. Possible to drench with cooking oil to help it pass. Feed yogurt for probiotic action. Make sure to give chick chance to swallow oil so it does not aspirate this into it's lungs. Very BAD!
