I have a meatie that has peck wounds on his head. We moved him into a seperate pen. They are 7 weeks old and just over 5 lbs. He doesn't seem to be doing very well, won't walk, and he has green poo. He is still eating and drinking but not moving around very much. Is it safe to butcher him or just watch him for a few more days and see if he turns around? I don't know what's causing the green poo...

Thanks in advance for the help!

I don't know about butchering - I'd ask the meat board guys about that. As for otherwise, it could be that he's just weak because he's been bullied and is stressed. Make sure he keeps eating, give him a little boiled egg to boost his nutrition - or some vitamins/electrolytes (for poultry) in his water. Give him a couple of days on his own to recoop. Green droppings can mean anything including nothing. Are they runny? Are they forest green? He might not have had a lot to eat.

Give him a couple of days; he might be fine.

First off, thanks for the reply. He is in a spot by himself. He was pretty beat up, his eye is swelled shut also. He is still eating and drinking. His poo is a lighter green, like a cucumber color, and no it is not runny. We'll watch him for a few days....I'll give him an egg in the morning.
