About how long does the laying season of Quail last?

Some quail lay according to the season, and others, such as Coturnix Quail) will lay eggs all year, if they are given supplemental lighting, to provide 14 hours of light total. We need to know what type of quail you are inquiring about to answer your question please.

Coturnix Will Lay Year Round If Given 14 Hrs Of Light/day. Most Other Quail --- Bob White (most Subspeces) Valleys, Gambels, Blue Scale, Mearns, Are Traditionally A Seasonal Layer--- 1 Or 2 Clutches Per Year. Beginning Late Spring And Another Batch (if They Will...) Late Summer/ Early Fall. This Is The Traditional Gamebird Laying Schedule. Some Folks Have Just The Right Conditions Mastered And Can Get Eggs Many Times Each Year From Certain Bob Speces.
