?? about Pagan sources, forums, etc.

hmmm.... I have visited a lot of forums but so far I have not felt comfortable enough to actually sign up at any of them. LOL everyone seems way more intense about what to believe/how to practice than I do. None of the sites felt laid back enough for me, so I, too, am still looking for a place to fit in. It's probably a combination of my age and sex and the fact that I tend to be pretty private about stuff, so I am still looking.

...The Caldron is not true beliefs friendly....

This is kinda what I mean. Who is to say which beliefs are "true"? Kinda reminds me of some mainstream religious types I've met. One of the reasons I avoid the mainstream is because I don't think anyone has the right to decide for me what my "true beliefs" should be. I guess conformity is just not my thing and I'm meant to stay a solitary practitioner, but that's okay, too.

As always, JMO

I'm sorry I didn't make myself clearer (is that a word?) The Cauldron is a more "mainstream" pagan type forum if there ever is one. "This is the way it is." "No it's not suppose to be like that." Blah blah blah blah.

Your true spiritual path is your own and yours alone. It can not and should not be dictated by any formal rules, edics or this is the way it's suppose to be. You may take a high road, the low or a spiraled path, heck even zigzags if that get you to where YOU are comfortable with what you believe. My Christian buddy, Debi, will tell you I am open to all roads that lay before me until you try to stuff it down my throat.

An elder with the Odawa People taught me about ones spiritual path. It's kind of wandering down a lonesome highway. You may see the bright lights of the cities but is that what you want? All the bright and glitter? You will see the rugged mountains. Is that what you want? The hard dangerous climb? What's that by your shoe? A penny dirty from being out here along the road. A bit scraped up. But if you look closely, you can see a bit of that shimmer from it's origrinal glory. You pop it into you pocket and keep walking. Over time you will have gathered many of this beat up pennies (your own "truths") along the way they have rubbed against each other and the fabric of you pocket. When you remove them from your pocket you will be amazed with the wealth of knowledge you now possess. All of it, though not perfect, polished to a new luster and how well they all fit together.

This is the trouble with trying to communicate via the internet. I took your original post 180 degrees opposite of what you meant! What you said above is pretty much the way I am, too!
