? about rag quilt finished pictures on post #9

I am now going to have to make a fabric/denim rag quilt......my hubby says "Thanks"

You think it turned out "great"???? That is the UNDERSTATEMENT of the year!!!! It turned out INCREDIBLE!!!! Very, very nice!!!! There is probably no one in your house with a pair of jeans to wear but the sacrifice was worth it, lol!!!

Thanks guys. I am pleased with the way it turned out.
My DH said he needs one to. He wants one to cover from head to toe, he is a little over 6 foot tall. Told when he turned into a LITTLE old man maybe then! He has a nice blanket I made him last year. As soon as I finished this one he ask what I was making next.

I like these... need to try to make one, my mother in law bought me a sewing machine for Christmas, havent used it yet, dont even know how, got to learn

Is it hard to do?

Its on my list of things I'm going to make... I remember I had one of these blankets when I was a kid, it was my favorite blanket.

piecemaker no wonder your fingers hurt,
I make the denimangle quilts & Rag quilts
I tie the denimangle quilts but sew the rag quilts so the batting stays put ..
sewing an X in the middle is a lot easyer then tiring
but it came out really nice ...
