LOL I turned my computer desk into a holding area from all my chicks so I can keep an eye on them Of course my desk is 8 ft long and 3 1/2 foot wide. I have over lapped my monitors basicly to make room for the tanks I keep them in. Goood thing is my landlord does care about the chickens and they enjoy the eggs

. Plus the neighbor likes the fact my runaways are keeping the bugs down on his property lol.

if it will stay on your conscience that he is gonna be disappointed that you crack it, then i wouldn't do it, and if you find it okay, since it is overdue, then do it, just hope if it is alive then you better make sure it goes straight into the incubator, or it'll be like a vacuum packed quail chick, in that egg he he lol
