about worms - when i butcher, should i be able to tell ?

I haven't wormed my birds and they are 18 weeks, we plan on butchering 1st of september, my question is:
Is it safe to eat them if they haven't been wormed. This is our first attempt at this and they will be processed by an amish processor.
