After thinking about this a little more, mine go through heavier laying phases even in summer. I'll have a couple of months with lots of eggs and then a few weeks with less. I had one hen that would lay every day for about 6 weeks and then take a break.
If they just hatched in Feb then I wouldn't think it's a molt. None of mine have molted within their first year.
If literally the next day after adding the new ones the egg production stopped I would wonder if some are eating eggs. WHat time of day do you check and collect eggs? Usually a hen has a couple of eggs already in the process so they would ideally need a few days to totally stop.
But the days are getting shorter.
