Oh wow, she is gorgeous. Does she stay broody much? Blanche is definitely top of the pecking order. The others will try to boss, but she isn’t having any of it. She gets all of the worms, and is so happy about it when she does that she does a little chicken dance that is hilarious to watch.

thank you. well this is her third time going broody and the bigger hens always break her but this time she is not letting them boss her around and she wants to sit on that nest all day and will only get off one time a day. i love the colors of your d,uccle she is so cute. im hoping mine will be brave and tuff enough to stand up to the rest of the flock when the chicks hatch

she stopped laying when she went broody so im gonna have to steal some of my other hens eggs to give to her today lol i dont think they will mind this is my first time using a broody hen im a little worried i dont know much about broodys but im trying to learn has much has i can. i think she will be a great mama too she is on that nest all day long i am very proud of her and super eggcited for more chicks
