Ive got my 2cnd message back from fleet reserve and already have a date of Sept 30, 09 as confirmed by the second message. Guess chalk it up to another one bites the dust in my case.

Between the ship board crashes, shore base crashes and the ones inbetween, ive seen enough!Somebody else can take the slack on that.

I did send my son off to basic...does that help?

I'm proud of all our kids/spouses/selves. Steven is going to basic training this summer in between his Jr. and Sr. year, then into college, 4 yrs of ROTC, and active.

Thank you for your service Orpingtonman. I do appreciate the sacrifice you have made. I wish things were different.

My sister has been deployed three times already and each time she gets home her husband gets sent. They've been married for five years now and have spent a total of maybe six months together.

My DH got deployed just before his end date (not retirement he'd only been in for 8 years) but they kept him in until the end of deployment and we were not even at war then. Well, not technically anyway......

I am sorry this happened to you. Can you see your company doc and say you've had enough?? I've seen people close to retirement do that - PTSD, blood pressure etc....

Thanks for all you do and let me assure you that in our house you are a HERO! Thanks to your family for their sacrifices. So sorry! Micah
