Abundance of flies - how do they affect chicken health if larvae is ingested

We have very different feelings about bald faced hornets. I get they're part of insect crowd control, but did you know they'll squirt venom in your eyes?! 😭😱
Yep! They don't scare me. Awesome pest control and they're pretty docile if you respect their space.

Here's a video of a nest and its residents right next to the driveway from 2023 🥰

(Plus a different, bonus yellowjacket toward the end)

You are out of your mind. I don't care how cute it looks pulsating on a flower! 🫠

I had trouble with flies on my cows when the ear tags wore out.
I saw a video of a trap using a black tot with yellow top from a big box store with PVC fittings on all 4 sides with Ts on the outside several inches from the bottom and elbows on the inside pointing down so the bottom of the elbow is just above the attractant(water or beef broth or chicken broth with some rotting meat or fruit in it ). The top has the center cut out with a clear plastic piece(like from kitchen recessed lighting covers) riveted and sealed in place, so the flies come in then try leaving by flying up not out the PVC fitting. I attached it to the fence top with a ratchet strap about the level of a cows back . When I started using this I was amazed how fast the flies disappeared from my cows.
